Who is Don Felipe Fine Products?Don Felipe Fine Products is a family owned business based in Portland, Oregon. Don Felipe Fine Products began selling their Chorizo at the Forest Grove Farmers Market in 2012. Over the years, the company has branched out into different retail and wholesale venues throughout the Portland Metro Area.

Do I need to place a custom order to pick-up at one of your farmers markets booths?We encourage you to fill out our pick-up order form here. It is no necessary if you are picking up 5 lbs or less.

Do I need to refrigerate your salami?Our Salami is cured and does not need to be refrigerated, although we do encourage you to do so to increase shelf life.

Are you chorizos cooked?All our products are raw and need to be cooked before eating with the exception of the chorizo Salami

Where do you offer local delivery?We deliver throughout the Portland Metro Area in Oregon. Attached below you can see our local delivery shipping zones. Interested in placing an order? Click here!

What days do you offer local delivery?We deliver every Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday. Please submit your orders by 10PM. Choose the time and date preferred.

What happens if i'm not home when you deliver?Since we are delivering perishable items, we recommend our Chorizo be refrigerated or frozen as soon as we deliver. Please let us know ahead of time if you will not be home to accept the order so we can coordinate a better delivery time and date.

Does my order contain dry ice? Will my order arrive frozen or thawed?We do not include dry ice in our local deliveries. All our products besides our Salami are delivered frozen.

Will my entire order arrive in one box?As of 2/16/2021, each product box ordered will in its own box. I.E. If you purchase 2 orders of our 10 lbs specialty Chorizo Case, your order will arrive in 2 seperate boxes meaning twice the shipping costs. If you are going to order more than a case of our products, contact us here using the "Custom Order" dropdown. We might be able to arrange a different shipping option for you.

Are the shipping boxes heavy?Our shipping boxes range from 15-20 lbs.

What do I do with the dry ice and liners once I receive my order?You can soak the foam liner in water in it will dissolve. Dry ice comes in a clear plastic bag and it is found on top of the thermal pouch. It’s the second thing you’ll see when you remove the top foam liner. Do not open and touch the dry ice with your bare hands as it may cause burns from the extreme cold. You may put plastic bag containing the dry ice in a bowl and place in a well-ventilated area, away from pets and children. The dry ice will dissipate over time and when gone, you may recycle the plastic bag.

How long does shipping take?Since our products contain dry ice and are perishable, we only offer 2 day shipping.

Do you ship outside of the US?Don Felipe is only shipping within the United States (Hawaii and Alaska included)

Where does my order ship from?Our product ships from Portland, Oregon.

What if my address is incorrect?We cannot guarantee a cancelation or a correction can be made once the order has been left the shipping dock.

Why does DF only ship Monday & Tuesday?We would never want a shipment to spend a weekend in a shipping warehouse due to an unforeseeable delay. Orders are shipped Ground or 3nd Day Air, however your order may arrive +/- 1 days from the estimated delivery day.

Do you ship to P.O Box?Don Felipe cannot ship to P.O boxes or APO boxes.

How is the product shipped?To help ensure your order arrives in optimal condition, every order is shipped frozen with the exception of our Chorizo Salami. Your order is placed in a reusable thermal pouch, and then nestled in a bed of biodegradable insulated foam inside our shipper box. A plastic bag containing Dry Ice is placed on top of the sealed thermal pouch.

Can I return the product?Please do not return or refuse our packages. Unfortunately, DF is not able to accept product. Please contact customer with questions or if there are issues with your order within 10 days upon arrival.
